Can Islamic Business Use In the Current System?
Actually, successful business is a business that get "berkat" (profit, growth and continuous), but is not or is not must get a blessing or "berkah". If any of the 'berkat' and "berkat", there are few and difficult to develop with optimal, because it lose by the secular business conduct that justifies any means.
Starting from "kickbacks" while get business licensing, "kickbak" which required for successfully winning the bid, save money in interest-bearing checking account, until the ad indecent. Like or not, this is all business effect from living in a capitalistic system today, a system that no longer destructive ideal ...
Islamic business will only be an ideal life and the Islamic system and environment as well. Conversely non-Islamic business will only be an ideal living environment in the system and the secular / socialist. It's all because - after all - business activity will heavily depend on the system and environment there.
So, what should we do? We are satisfied enough with today's business conditions islamic that grow less than ideal? Employers must join to realize Islamic system (syariah and the Caliphate)? Or ... maybe we are just pragmatic who always try for other alternatives other than Islam?

The Name is Syariah Business
Thats true, when the Islamic world to live up to the order since the time of the Prophet Muhammad until collapse of the Ottoman era Islamic Daula in 1924, never was a business term syariah or Islamic business.
It happened - simple - because the system life used is the Islamic system, not the system of capitalism or socialism is communism. So naturally, it used just 'business' because it will automatically explanation refers to the system adopted at that time.
Similarly today, if you say word 'business' without any opinion, connotation would lead to the current system is applied, then the understanding will be 'business capitalist' or 'conventional business' is definitely not far from the Syariah, or Islamic.
It's as simple as a dichotomy of 'Islamic banking' vs. 'conventional banking, ' 'Islamic education' versus 'secular education' etc. On that basis, it becomes important to use the term 'Islamic business' or 'Islamic finance' to confirm the nature of business done building and give effect to educate the public at large that we really are living in a system that is not Islamic.
